Overall, I’m a big fan, and I think this knife delivers on everything it sets out to do. First, it’s absurdly thin, and I completely forget it’s in my pocket. Second, it has slick, fidgety deployment and buttery drop close. The cross bar lock is solid – there’s no play, and the Ti scaled do not bend despite their thin profile. I love the shape of the handle, the blade, and this colorway – the design is just so cool. Of course the blade is great steel in stonewash, and arrived sticky sharp.

Couple things I didn’t expect:

  1. It’s smaller (width and length wise) than I thought it would be. Almost a three finger grip, for my hands anyway (which are size large, but still). I find I have to kinda contort my hands slightly uncomfortably to use this knife, which I find to be a bummer. Vosteed, if you’re listening, size XL please!

  2. I’ve noticed it’s easier to do a spidey flick than a thumb flick with this knife. The scales are so thin that I have to use the pocket clip to grip with my pinky for a thumb flick, or the blade rotates towards my thumb when I flick, which is not great. My first thumb stud knife though – maybe that’s typical?
