Comparison with Fenix TK20R UE, as it’s a similar construction:
– (slightly smaller) smooth reflector
– SFT-70 6500K
I would prefer to have TIR but I could not find a compatible one. I will surely not revert the mod as I don’t like the harsh gradients in the beam of the stock version.
No outdoor beamshots yet but I like it already and it has a potential for being decent walking light, and it’s also useable indoors.
I’m not sure yet, if I want to risk less efficient emitter (lower CCT and/or higher CRI) as it might loose too much lumen flux and throttle thermally.
