Have both. Mordax no question. Better knife in every way.
had both, still have the mordax.
I prefer the Malibu aesthetically (well, with a tanto blade at least) but the Mordax is definitely better in terms of ergos, practicality, and just as nice action wise (also I’ve had button stick issues with one of my malibus but none with my mordax). Also worth considering the Cambria if the smaller size of the Malibu appeals to you.
