I managed to pick up this Kershaw Blur in olive for around $40 back in the early days of collecting knives. I was definitely into more budget blades back then, so the Blur seemed a definite cut above it quality and performance. I read the reviews at the time that usually raved about the Blur. The Blur is a truly great knife. It's an absolute classic. There's a reason they have been making them so long. Also, why they're so expensive now. This knife is in 14c28n from when that was still an unknown secret awesome steel. This thing has always been so sharp and cuts so well with the belly of the recurve in the blade. It fires open and is one of a very few assisted opening knives I own. It's surprisingly light for a relatively big knife. The aluminum scales are solid, ergonomic, and grippy. The handle is so compact that it fits in a lot of 5th pockets. The tip does come all the way to the edge of the inside of the handle, making it possible to cut yourself reaching into your pocket. I learned a lot of knife handling lessons from this knife. I feel like olive is the most common color I see. The Blur is a good looking knife. I'm not really into the 'tactical' looking knives so much, but the Blur is a reflection of its time. It's like an 80's Camaro, or Starion, or a 300ZX. Not everyone's cup of tea but undeniably cool.
