For years I’ve exclusively carried folders. I’ve always held back due to limited carrying options, but I couldn’t resist BRK any longer. I’m considering ordering a few more as well.
This is the Woodland Special with A2 steel. It’s just big enough to get 4 fingers on, with a blade around 3”. It’s (hopefully) not too intimidating to be using in public, and still large enough to be useful.
Anyway, right now I’m looking for a horizontal carry option. I order a few different clips to try to add on the stock sheath, but if anyone has suggestions let me know what you think. The other thing I’m wondering is about the flint inset, has anyone ever just removed theirs from the sheath? I’ll never use it, and it feels a little out of place. I don’t really want to thread paracord through the holes or wrap anything around.
