I started with the Civivi mini praxis. Then I got the other Civivis like the chevalier II in Damascus. Then I got the US magnacut Kershaw. Followed up with the couple Vosteed. Then I got a spyderco manix 2 salt but I didn’t love it and turned around and sold it. Bought the para 3 instead. Then I got the tiny shark and the ad20.5 or ad20s or whatever. Also grabbed flytanium g10 scales for it. Would like to get a UDA Demko so the new ad22 looks great to me.
I’m very interested in an otf and was planning on going Kershaw for my first one. Haven’t had or handled any Benchmade or anything super high end yet.
I’ve been loving trying different blade steels, blade shapes, locking mechanisms, scale materials, and all the other nuances in the knife world.
Please recommend me anything I should look for based on whatever I have said here. Maybe a fixed blade and otf suggestions. I was debating on getting of the Metal Complex Kunwu Excalibur 2s. Also was looking at a flytanium theory. But haven’t committed to either of those yet.
Thanks!

I would use what you have for a while to see what you like. You’ll just get bored fast if you try to acquire a big pile of random knives just to satiate a shopping addiction.

If you’re new and already have these many knives, what I would do is take a pause to enjoy them! Great collection OP

I think the Bel Air, Para 3, Demko combo would keep me happy. Different locks to fidget with each day is nice.

I started in a similar way (though over 30 years ago) and bought a lot of very similar, relatively cheap knives. They are effectively all the same so unless you collect for quantity alone, use what you have and save up to get slightly better and more upmarket models break away from the ubiquitous brands that everyone starts with and look at smaller makers. That’s where the true gems lie. I got my first knife in 1987 or so and after aaaallll those years I now have…9 knives. All are perfect in their own ways. Everyone is different of course but a huge pile of all the same stuff surely gets boring, right?
