I don't have a great place for my headphones most of the time but I don't need to carry them with me everywhere, so I tried to make my keychain more modular. I like to 3d print so I designed this magnetic quick disconnect for my keychain and printed a few test versions. It uses 12x3mm magnets and as such is a little bulky, but the other quick disconnects I've had or printed disconnect a little too quickly for me. Included are a few different pictures of the quick disconnect system, including a cross section view.
I wanted to post here in hopes that someone could provide some feedback on how to make it better or other things that I might be able to print to add to my keychain. TIA 🙂
