This was my late grandfather’s shrade knife and what I presume to be a sharpening stone (please correct me if I’m wrong). I would like to clean the small bit of rust and learn how to sharpen it. Anyone have tips or direction for me?

sharpening is pretty easy imo but youtube would have some good guides to learn how to, definitely practice on something that isn’t sentimental because you don’t want to ruin that one
