I’m trying to decide between these two options. I already have an M21B with the LHP73B in 5000k which I like very much. Will the XHP70.3 R70 be as impressive in the M21H? I’ve always wanted an acebeam L35 2.0 will the M21H with the 70.3 be similar but more compact? Thanks for your input

Imagine LHP73B on high but not turbo – that’s XHP70.3. It also has slightly better color reproduction despite both emitters being low CRI. LHP73B is more floody though. M21H with XHP70.3 will be way more floody than L35.

The XHP won’t be as “impressive” but it would provide you with a useful alternative to the short-lived “wow” factor of the 73B in the M21B. The R70 4000K 70.3 puts out a lot of lumens, has decent tint, runs on a high-efficiency boost driver, and most importantly runs reasonably cool. It’s great for maximizing sustained output in smaller hosts.

I have the m21h with the r70 70.3 in 4000k and it’s probably one of my favorite tints. It’s just so clean and appealing to the eye. Can’t compare it to the l35 though as I don’t have one but have always wanted one.

My friend has an M21H with the same emitter as the top one, and same CCT.

It’s decent, but I’d definitely go for a higher CRI emitter at that CCT with that light. I have one of those XHPs in 5000K and it looks a lot better than the 4000K. (This is all my preference)

If I were to buy one with the options, probably a 3000K or 4000K SFT70.

    Here are the M21K LHP73B 5000k and M21H XHP70.3 HI R70 5000k both on high.
