I'm buying a birthday gift. He has Recon1 tanto. I couldn't find amything fancy that's here and with reasonable price (I'm too paranoid to order from another country).
He has mentioned that he wishes he had a back-up for his Recon1 tanto.
So I found a Voyager Tanto! And ordered it the same day. It'd be a nice back-up. And it arrived to parcel shop on last friday and I just picked it up today…
I made huge huge mistake. I accidentally clicked on the XL…. this thing is huge. What do I do? Sending it back is not an option, I don't wanna embarass myself like that. Do I just gift this or buy him another knife?

it probably won’t fill the roll as a “back up daily carry” but he will certainly be happy to see a massive chonker of a knife. especially from a company he already likes.
I have 2 XL voyagers, this one and a serrated vaquero. Also an XL espada, frenzy, and my EDC which is a Rajah 2. They’re all awesome. They are also all legal to carry in my state with no restrictions. Legality would be my only question. But yes gift it.
If a guy likes knives, he’ll love a giant knife. It doesn’t matter how “practical” it is.

Very capable and well-loved knife. I think the recipient will be impressed as it is almost certainly the largest folder he wikl have seen. A beast, great all-purpose medium-hard use folder.
