I noticed my new cheap charger MC1 usb c version charge Soo slow compare to very old free charger that I got either from sofirn or wurkkos around 2020 with micro usb port in it.
My basic test only using power-Z 003 and depleted 21700 battery volt measurements using my anduril flashlight 2.98 volt
Base on the specs MC1 should be deliver 4.2 W but it's consistently hover around 3.4 to 4W
Meanwhile my old generic charger delivering 5W peak and 4.5W consistently all day long until battery almost full,
This different look not very significant, but with big 21700 it's results around 1-2 hours faster charging time.
Anyone here have MC1 have similar behaviour?

I couldn’t find a review for this xtar, it’s possible it has a DC/DC converter and is still charging at 1A. What’s the usb input power with an empty cell vs. an almost full cell? If those two numbers are practically the same I’d say the xtar is not meeting its specs. If the power on the USB side increases with increasing battery voltage, I’d say it’s probably charging at 1A.
