It’s been a hot minute since I carried this odd duck. Or perhaps I should say odd dove? 🤔
The name, “Zenaida”, which is a type of dove, references the knife’s unique dovetail construction, which entirely eschews screws of any kind – yup, the whole shebang snaps apart, and back together again. I’m not quite sure what designer TJ Schwarz was smoking when he came up with this, but I bet it was good.
Anyway, I’m glad that Bill Koenig took on the challenge of building it, and here we are. Definitely a fun little knife to carry, and a conversation starter among fellow knife knerds.
