The B35AM emitter in my S21E burnt itself

I received this S21E with B35AM emitter today – I bought it because I really like my S21E with 519a. The thing is 519a gets really hot, I heard that because it has linear driver, it burns off the excessive voltage as heat. So I thought B35AM would be better.

Anyway, I turned on the flashlight again after usage turbo mode usage. I felt emitter was dimmer despite I was running again in the turbo mode. So I took the flashlight apart to have a look. It turned out that the emitter is burnt and damaged. Now the emitter emits a purplish light…

What do I do now? Do I contact Simon and ask for a replacement? I heard that B35AM suffers from this kind of problem. I probably shouldn’t get another one.

I basically want the brightest floody emitter with the highest sustainable lumen at 3500K regardless CRI, or an emitter at 3500K with highest sustainable lumen and high CRI.

B35AM needs proper cooling since it has no thermal pad. At 13W power its on the brink of burning out and requires carefully designed MCPCB and a well regulated driver.
