Inherited Randall — Age?

Hey folks. I recently inherited this Randall knife which my stepfather bought directly from Bo Randall. He thought he might have bought it in the late 1960's but he couldn't remember exactly. He lived in Orlando at the time so he was local and visited the Randall workshop multiple times…

Does anyone have a good way to identify the age? Is it worth sending back to Randall for reconditioning?
