I’ve been thinking about this for a while. I was going through my flashlights recently, and I’m up to about 35 now – i still can't fucking believe it….
My favorites are my Weltools. I've shared three of my most-used ones out of the nine Weltools I have in my collection.
I love everything about them—the fit and finish, the machining, the body design, the anodizing, the potting, and the emitter choices. I honestly have nothing to complain about other than the price… which is definitely steep.
What about you guys?

Malkoff is my current favorite but Surefire is always in the running.

Fenix! I own everything from their keychain lights, to bike lights, to headlamps, to LEPs, EDC+TAC lights, and huge search and rescue lights to boot. They’re absolute work horses and nothing can destroy them. I’ve dropped them into ice fishing holes, skidded them down cliffs while rock climbing, plopped them in bonfires, had them fall from tree tops while limbing, run over them with excavators by accident, swam down to the base of a dam to remove old pipes with them! Not a single one has ever stopped working or malfunctioned in any way and every one I’ve owned still works as well as the day I got them!
Wurkkos. I like the finish, I like the specs and the price. It does seem like they make some strange decisions and miss one detail like the HD16 having a knob but it does flood to throw, or the TS27 with only ramping… Gotta say the TD04 and HD15 have been my new go-to lights though. Amazing how thin the TD04 is, it could pass for an 18650 and it’s just a well executed version on what is a commodity at this point.
