Hi everyone, im fairly new in this hobby, and i'm considering buying the M21B.
The use for it will be short time use of lighting up the attic, and get logs from my shed and afternoon walks. For what i have read online most recommend the R70 LED with 5000K.
But based on my needs i want to know if you have other recomennedations for the LED type.

I have the burn hazard version of the m21b and it is actually fine for short time use. But I still wouldn’t recommend it.
If I had to pick a more useful boost driven config i’d go SFT70 5kk or 3kk
For battery maybe EVE INR21700-58E 5700mAh, would that be okay?
Well frankly nearly all of those options could work quite well for you. The XHP50 is a bit boring and can have some ugly tints, but it’s very efficient so shouldn’t get hot and will probably run for quite a while.
Can you name something a bit more specific? Like how much range do you want, how wide of a beam, what kind of colour temperature, what level of colour rendering?
Colour temperature is essentially whether your light will look like a traditional cool white LED or a warmer incandescent like light. Colour rendering measures how well your light will portray colours. The XHP50 R70 for example doesn’t do that too well. It’s completely fine really for most use cases but it will likely struggle with things like reds.
The tradeoff for good colour rendering is a loss of lumens. Higher colour rendering index means less light, generally. A similar tradeoff exists for lower colour temperatures, but it’s lesser and perhaps more of a perceived loss of light since a warm 3000k is not as harsh as a cool white 6500k is to your eyes.
Xhp50.3 hi r70 is ok; xhp70.3 hi r70 will be brighter/more floody, sft70 will be brighter/more throwy and the 3000k is nice warm white if you’re into that.
If you really want a hotrod, the sft90 (more throw) or the lhp73b are good choices.
