18650 modlite, found these 9900MAH LI-ON’s, 3.7V as a pose to the 3500 mah 3.6V battery the modlite comes with. Any cons running the bigger battery? I did a test fit and it works just fine. That’s 3x the MAH, should I expect more run time? Someone educate me.

It would have more runtime if it was actually 9900mAh, but it isn’t
it’s fake and usually a very low capacity cell, or filled with sand.

I’ve tested similar cells like this, and got an actual capacity of 300mAh

    Lies. Probably more like 1200mah.
There are no 9900mah 18650 batteries.

Uh yeah the spec on the “9900”mah battery is just a straight up lie. 3500 is the typical maximum capacity for an 18650. IIRC there’s some manufacturer that makes a 4000 mah battery but that’s the very peak.

Pure lies, there are no 18650 batteries higher than 4000mAh. I wouldn’t trust this battery not to catch on fire.

These only work in flashlights that are 100,000,000,000 lumen or higher.
