Wow – I’m not sure I’ve ever seen tritium in the optics before, or at least seen it and realized it wasn’t a GitD something. This is an awesome effect.
1) Did you mod these this way yourself?
2) Any pics of the process?
3) Any pics of say the optic or PCB naked where we can clearly see the tritium?
4) From my first ReyLight, I fell in love with the yellow-green GitD he uses in the optics/lens/front. I remember the first time I got a Lumintop with a GitD ring of some sort (probably oring) around the lens, and thinking how smart it was to have that self-charging ring there. Then, with my first ReyLight, I recall how cool it was to see a non-standard (ie, green or blue) GitD color, and how cool it looked. I absolutely love the similar color GitD Gyorgy Kemenes uses in his amazing flashlights. What other combinations of two colors have you considered that would be cool, other than yellow + green?
5) Do you have any other such projects in the works? While I have and use basic rough-use flashlights with little or no gimmicks, I also love little extras like you’ve got here.
6) Thanks for sharing!
