Received my new Acebeam D30 dive light today! It is very tall and heavy, but also very sturdy. Besides diving, this will become my outdoor emergency light, as it should be reliable in any weather condition.
Pros:
Bright and VERY throwy
Large thermal mass so it it maintains max brightness for a bit.
I love the color
Cons:
Won't tailstand
Lowest mode is quite bright (who needs moonlight while diving anyway?)
UI: single click changes brightness, click and hold for off. WTF Acebeam? Why would you do this?
