Hi everyone, I've been doing some research and can see the T6 with SRT40 and the T3 are suitable for me (takes AA & 14500 batteries)
I'll be using the torch for outside, walking the dog at night time, a nice throw will be great, I assume the 6500K colour is fine, with the T3, I see XPG2 and the KW, and am slightly confused whether I need to be concerned about that?

Be aware SFT40 can be green in those higher cri.

Great emitter and tint and cct if u don’t mind a warmer light
Sft25r 5000k also works great in this host
I’d stay away from the t3 as I find the t6 has a more useful t reflector and very small in the pocket

The Convoy T6 with SFT-25R or SFT-40 would be great options for you, but I would HIGHLY recommend going 5000K instead of 6500K, it’ll look a lot better as human eyes aren’t well tuned for blue light. I can also highly endorse the SFT-40 in 3000K, it’s still really throwy, warm, high CRI, and pretty much dead neutral in tint.

Get 3000k or 5000k – much nicer on the eyes. From what I hear 6500k has slightly off tint (and IMO warmer looks so much better)
I have a T3 and a T5 in 2024 and to be honest, I’m just kinda meh about them. Both are 4500K 519A, but they are just are not really anything to write home about. I say this as a guy who loves Convoy and will always look to them first for a new flashlight.
If you are considering the T3, I think there are alot better setups out there. Manker, Wurrkos, Sofirn, etc. The T3 is on the large size of the 14500 flashlights and ships without a cell and does not have USB charging. The color and emitter is great, but it’s not the only party in town.
I have no experience with the T6, however, I would totally give it a try. In the SFT40 @ 5k

I have a brass t6 with sft25r in 6500k and a CuTi t3 with cslnm1.tg in 6500k and I love them both!
I love the t6 more tho
