I’ve had issues with this specific flashlight being sputtery turning on and off before. I’ve contacted Skilhunt but gave me a 15% coupon or I could send it to Shenzen to have it repaired which obviously wouldnjust cost more than just buying another one.

Using a Skilhunt protected button top battery will solve the issue.
What’s happening is that short flat top (30Q?) is losing contact with the top spring as it compresses the bottom spring. It’s not long enough to prevent that.

You use a battery that is a bit too short. It is unprotected and flat top.
