it is still beyond me why flashlight manufactures add these stupid green laser pointers to the flashlights.
I use flashlight all the time in all sorts of different situations and not even one i said to myself “Jeez! wish i had a green laser dot moving around here” or these are specially for cat owners? I never take my cat on night walks tho.
If you don’t need UV, the original HD01 is still cheaper and throws about 20% farther. FWIW
I got an orange one on sale a while back and it is now my daily carry.
Is it the brightest light I own, nope, but it is more than bright enough for everything I’ve needed it for. When working on my car or at my workbench, the magnetic tail end makes it a very convenient hands free work light using the side flood. The UV is great at charging up glow in the dark items, and yes, the green laser is good for making our cats go berserk.
For the money, especially with this sale price, it’s a great value.
Looks to be $1 less than the price on the Wurkkos website, though some benefit to buying from Amazon, but it doesn’t look like a staggering price.
It was a similar price a couple of months ago when I got mine.
I got one but the laser is angled compared to the orientation of the light. As in, it’s not straight out the front of the light so you have to angle the light up. Is that how it’s supposed to be?
