Well as long as it adds something that the G5 does not, Im okay with it.
It’s a bit of a blatant copy though.
Honestly? It addresses a lot of my gripes with the G5, while retaining what I found appealing. I’ll probably get one.
I’d give this a shot. I’ve had great luck with Thrunite. Any idea when this is going to be available?
If the clip was a two way S clip like most Olights have I’d have bought one instantly for being able to clip to my pocket or shirt and point the light down
Dum waste of usefulness by not making a better clip. I bought a 3D printed inverted clip for my wuben G5 and it’s a great application for this type of light
At $30 I will pass. The button fixes my biggest gripe about the g5. But these are $20 lights max.

In case there is someone who is not overwhelmingly spammed with Wuben G5 ads everywhere: this looks like a copy of the Wuben G5 🙂
Maybe Wuben is producing this model for them and they just sell it for a premium now?
I bet this is Wuben’s most sold model, and 99% of the people who got it are people who never had a flashlight before and fell forthe aggressive marketing.
Anyway, until today I considered Thrunite to be an underrated company that deserves more attention, from now on, I don’t.
