The perfect headband doesn’t exi…

I had been looking for the perfect headband for both the D2 and E03 III for months now. Manker stock headband is almost useless. While quite comfy, it's made of ultra soft rubber, and not enough of it, resulting in the headlamp jiggling as you walk. Kind of disorientating to have your only source of illumination jiggling. For the D2, I had been using a Perun 2 mini headband, but it's too skinny to properly secure in the mounting area.

Enter the Acebeam H16 headband. I ordered a H16 for work, but didn't need the headband, which sat unused until I had the idea to see if it worked for the D2/E03. The results are very satisfying to my OCD. Both lights have "uni-head construction", meaning they don't unscrew while you're adjusting the angle. The headband itself is super comfy and has a ton of ventilation, making it great for summer. I ordered a 2nd headband from amazon, they sell them for $19.something CAD. Much cheaper than the eBay Perun 2 minis I've bene buying off eBay, from a US seller.
