I absolutely cannot stand back lock knives. Back lock enthusiasts, what do you like about them?
I don't find them to possess a single redeeming quality. However, they obviously have their fair share of proponents. What am I missing?

Ambidextrous and very strong. Can be fidgety when done and tuned well. A Delica or Native 5 really highlight the best it has to offer.
They are not my favorite either. However, my Native 5 is sooo nice. Smooth as glass, drop shut, locks up tight as drum. Great fidgety knife that is also one of my most useful tools.
I like Spyderco’s back locks because theyre designed well. Actually one hand close (though its not intuitive right off, it helps to see someone do it once), strong, smooth, and ambidextrous. By default though, I tend to avoid back locks because they are so rarely done well.
Other than not usually being fidgety what is there to dislike?
I like that they have spring tension to keep it closed. They’re reliable, you don’t have to worry about omega springs or anything failing. Lastly, I don’t care about fidget factor.
