Brand new T4 working strangely. Takes an average of about 4 clicks to turn it on. I am able to cycle through the modes and program it (currently have it set to 100, 20, 1) once it’s actually on. It just takes about 4 clicks to turn it on. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I took it apart, made sure everything is clean and tight, no difference. Any thoughts?

Do you have another T series to swap buttons with?
Try to isolate the problem sorta thing.
I would make sure the driver retaining ring is all the way screwed down as well as the tail spring retaining ring. After that, the small surround of the button can often be turned and tightened from the outside too. After all that, put it all back together and tighten it all down and see what it does. If it still persists, I’d contact Simon at convoy. His warranty is stellar and he will try and figure it out and or send you a new light.
