Is it a T8? If it is try a T9 or T10. Ive had luck in the past. Just push down super hard and hopefully you can get it out! Just use a size or two bigger. Hopefully its a T8. Looks like it is.

You stripped a torx? I know these are small. But damn. Ive never done it. Granted T15 is usually the smallest i deal with on a regular basis. And ive removed thousands of t15s. Normally my driver breaks before i strip threads.

If it is stuck in there due to loctite from the factory, you need to release the loctite with heat first. Best method is with a heat gun. I have heard guys drop the whole knife in boiling water. Applying a soldering iron directly to the pivot works sometimes. Once you have applied heat, while it is still hot (wear gloves), take a thick rubber band and place it over the pivot hole. Use the correct bit inserted into the hole with the rubber band. Apply alot of downward force using a driver which will allow you sufficient torque (large handle).

Also put some heat to it with a blow dryer.

I have had luck using a thick rubber band. I put the flat part of the rubber band between it and the striped screw and push down hard till I feel it break free.
