Noticed that when my brand new M21D with a 3000K XHP70.3 HI R70 powers off, the LED doesn’t seem to power off equally.
Due to the brightness, it’s difficult to say but it looks like the LED is powered on properly when the light is on (pic 2/3), but the other 2 photos show what it looks like as it powers down. I snapped these photos a split second after powering the light off – this isn’t moonlight mode or anything.
Does this suggest the emitter is worn or not illuminating fully?

Vf difference between the dies may look like that at very low currents. If everything looks fine when it’s turned on I wouldn’t worry.
If this is a new light try to run it on turbo to burn off moisture/flux residue
