I usually don't, but today for some reason I decided a pen and mechanical pencil would be thrown in my pocket. Does anyone else do this?

As soon as my brain said “the cyber truck of knives” I can’t unsee it.
As an MRI patient coordinator, yes. I use a ballpoint pen to sign off carbon copies, erasable gel pen for my MRI schedules, highlighters/dry erase markers/sharpies galore as neede through the day.
