Facebook/Instagram recently gave my accounts the axe. (Thanks Zuck! 🖕🏻) I had almost 5K followers and my account was over 10 years old. I LOVE EDC. I knew a lot of makers and loved taking photos of their gear. With that platform gone for me I feel I lost some of my sense of "community". I realized how quickly most all EDC makers of prys, customs knives, knucks, patches and so on use Meta exclusively. I am curious why they don't branch out and use Reddit. I can't think of a better place for a clean, organized, CHRONOLOGICAL way to showcase their gear and be a little safer from the 🦎 Zuck himself.

Just curious if anyone else thinks the same. I dream of Koenig, Starko, HMC and Brown Knives for example moving to Reddit and using this platform to expand and keep their business more protected from Meta just axing them one day potentially and just like that they are cutoff.

I'm glad I found this page and realize there's no perfect answer but all you fancy FB/IG peeps might recommend it to some makers. 🙃
