I’ve had this knife for years. Was a gift from my dad who got it from a guy that worked for a TSA gate at an airport in our city. Was always curious about the legitness, have gone through chatGPT and other sources like getting it appraised. No one has been able to tell.
It’s been sharpened to perfect edge once, and I don’t wear it anymore because it opened in my pocket once and drew blood.

I don’t know much about the Brend, but I have a Protech Rockeye and the hardware looks identical, down to the semi-convex edges of the firing button.
I’ve only got one pro tech so not positive but I’d say that’s a real one. Enjoy!
If ChatGPT verified it’s “legitness” (legitimacy?) Then you’re good. Who appraised it? Pawn shop?
