I've always struggled with maintaining an angle with a regular sharpening stone because I have cerebral palsy and I was given this to try and help with that. It does a lot better than i can but i feel like it could be better. It may just take practice but I wanted to check with y'all to see if there are any tricks that aren't in the instructions. It has "stones" 320 grit diamond, 600 grit diamond, and ceramic sides.

It’s a great system for learning how to sharpen.
Tips and edges for you!
Do not have but have seriously looked into
I think you almost need the aftermarket/ third party upgrade kits for it. or at the very least a bit of scrapwood to go under the part that holds the knife to keep it absolutely rock steady.
You’ll definitely get better with practice. When I got my worksharp I wasn’t doing that great but after watching some YouTube videos and sharpening so many knives I’ve gotten MUCH better.
Check Amazon or Etsy for a little addition that goes under the clamp arm. It removes any play when using the sharpener. A must add imo for like $7. Also, I recommend a digital angle finder if you use that as well so you can ensure the same angle every time you use it. Aside from that a sharpie is the only other accessory you’ll need to make sure you’ve got the correct angle.
