Saw these in Costco so im sure they're not anything to write home about but i love the concept of them as an emergency light. I was wondering what you guys think or if you know of anything similar woth a quality befitting a flashlight enthusiast.

  • stays plugged in as a "night light" so you always know where it is during a power outage

  • has reverse charging

  • rgb which isn't important but a nice bonus

  • simple UI as far as i can tell. Looks like a power button and a mode cycle button.

  • the wall prongs are built into the light and fold up so you don't need to keep track of cables.

Only thing that got in my mind that looks similar to this is Nitecore LA10. Its super small compared to your pictures but it looks similar. Other than that i have no idea if there is anything similar.

For all intents and purposes, these are night lights that in an emergency can be used as a flash of light. You just cannot rely on them to be a capable flashlight. But for their night light purpose, they’re quite adequate.

If you’re looking for a constantly charging, a “docked” unit, take a look at the Fenix WF26R light.

Or if you’re looking for an all encompassing emergency standby flashlight, the new Wurkkos TS27 is an excellent option, one bases on much longer lasting LiFePo 15Ah battery that doubles as a powerbank, and has a lantern feature as well as an actual searchlight capable emitter.
