I am building an s2+ triple build.
I will start from a s2+ MAO that has a SFT40 and 5 amp 12 group driver. That i bought already built. Im planning to swap out the following parts into a triple build :
Im gonna use (all bought from MTN) :
FET Driver 17mm
1057 carclo lens 3 up narrow spot optic
(3) Cree xp-g2 s4 2b leds on a noctigon 3xp copper mpcb
Copper triple spacer for convoy s2+ hosts.
My question is will the emiters be overloaded with voltage and amps? If i will be using a EVE 18650 20P that has a capacity of 2000ma and 30 amp rating? Is this okay? Would this be a ticking time bomb? Would this get hot? Im planning to bypass switch springs as well… any advice? Should i just use the current 5 amp driver?
