I bought a Molicel M35A 18650 battery (3450 mAh) from Convoy’s website to go with my S2+ and the following picture is what I received (Vapcell 4050 mAh 3.7V 10A CDR).
I’m not too familiar with batteries. Is this what I was supposed to receive and are they the same thing? If not, is it still a good battery and safe to use in my S2+ and charger?
Thank you.

Nope, that’s an oopsie. If you write to Simon through one of the support channels, he’ll probably send the correct one for free with your next order. Other than that, it’s a good battery with the same CDR rating – it may have a marginally lower lifespan due to the denser construction but it does have a decent bit higher capacity.
You got the wrong battery. Higher capacity but lower max current. What emitter do you have in your S2+? Because if it pulls less than 10A I’d just enjoy the extra runtime.
Wrong battery, but still good and safe.
I would just send Simon an email note, just to let him know that you got the wrong cell. You can still stick with it, and it’s got higher capacity for your use anyways, so technically it’s an upgrade. Only reason I would say you should let Simon know is that most likely someone else got your Molicel if it’s a mixup and your note would further clarify it.
