



Got 2 new custom knives from a knife maker in China, 5 layer Cumai 1095 core with copper wrapped in 1095/15n20 Damascus. Haven’t had a chance to put them to the test but they definitely look amazing, came with the fattest burr on the edge I’ve ever seen but once I got it off its razor sharp. I think copper melts below forge welding temperature so how good are these cumai Damascus knives? Is it just gotta split apart layers on me? if any of you have experience or knowledge on this please share your thoughts. I’ve had a mora garberg as my main knife, how well would it stack up to that?
