Here it is ladies and gentlemen, the mystery purple light. I needed a DW4K because I'm trying to collect every Hanklight, but I don't actually have a use for it since it's a bit big to wear on my head. Therefore, I decided to get a triple channel with some emitters I don't own. I have also been wanting a light that produces a nice warmish purple (the colour of infinite kelvin).
We have 2x XP-E Cyan, XP-E Red and XP-E Yellow. I was torn between yellow and green but I own a few green lights so the yellow was a better fit. The main reason for adding the 3rd colour was to have more of the light spectrum, and despite the numbers not looking all that impressive (and a bit redundant for anything this far from white), the light is quite pleasing to the eye and almost useable around the house. But mostly just fun.
Anyway, nobody managed to guess the exact combo of emitters, although a few people got close, but if anyone does want to suggest my next sub $100 light I'm all ears!
