NOXON EVAK G1.

I know these lights typically do not get a whole lotta love in this corner of the internet but this was kind of a grail light for me. The modlite version was just too expensive for me and when I saw the "machined in Taiwan assembled in USA" (lol probably China) version go on sale for Black Friday I got it.

Nice tight beam but with good spill. Makes me curious how the T1 version is because I thought this was a bit throwy too. The hue is definitely on the cooler white side but its not blue/green to my eyes.

The multi-mode is exactly how I like it with a double click to get to the secondary mode, reduces the chances of going to the reduced mode when you really dont want to.

I worked with Surefires and Streamlights in my pocket, on my belt etc for a long time so I grew accustomed to at the most dual output lights and this is what I was seeking for quite a long time.

Before the pandemic my flashlight collection consisted of Surefire G2X and a 6P (and a Xenon E2D2 that was beat to hell) and then I started getting the Sofirns, Wurkkos, Acebeams, etc.

At the end of the day I realized I really liked a good A /AA sized flashlight paired with a simplistic single output light and I think I hit the mark with this for me personally.

This along with either my Reylight Mini Pineapple or my Acebeam Pokelit is going to be my go to daily for work and play.
