I’m assuming the coke and gold plated bump straw is kept in the pouch?
Forgot to include that the watch is Cartier Cienture
Hello there dear chap… i think if your umbrella has a blade, you dont need the pocket knife. Tip top cheerio.
Pretty solid list and choices here.
I go back and forth, or am a walking contradiction between classic luxury and modern/high-tech options. (I own lots of leather but also lots of modern tech fabrics and bags too…)
I’m a big Smythson fan and own a number of their accessories and Notebooks. There just isn’t a classier or more luxurious option on planet earth for Leather notebooks/products that have fountain pen friendly paper (or even close to the paper quality). Montblanc notebooks have terrible paper only meant for rollerball pens. Hermes is not much different regardless of the leather quality. Frankly, Smythson Notebooks are more expensive than Montblanc and Hermes and are actually worth the money. (On Sale… they can be cheaper and worth every penny when discounted).
Montblanc 149 FP is on the list… Having trouble deciding on next grail type Fountain Pen that I would also Daily Drive. Leaning Pitot Custom 823 or Visconti Homo Sapiens for both being Vac-filler and better for plane travel. But a Montblanc would be next on the list.
With all my air-travel… instead of vintage lighters, I have a custom titanium zippo style with gasket and copper/brass insert that does not leak fluid.
I travel with EDC tools wrenches and pliers from Knipex, $70 French-made folding scissors instead of a knife (TSA compliant), custom loadout for bits and drivers (both 4mm and 1/4”) and more all in a small X-PAC 50 pouch. (Also use other UltraTX kits and pouches)
My boarding kit/pouch is black leather (matching Smythson black mini writing-folder, black leather pen case) that can be used as a sling. I also bring a 1 of 10 ever made Matador EDX 10L pack-flat, White UltraCore TX EDX Messages Bag and use that. Super Tech, super nice and opposite of the leather or notebooks and Fountain Pens I stuff in it (along with my iPadPro) for after hours work sessions/around town). My main travel bag is a BlackEmber Forge 40 bag as it is a modern, clean aesthetic that is professional enough in briefcase/shoulder carry to use with a suit. (Don’t want to be rocking a backpack onsite). I’d rather having something leather and have used some in the past, but getting all the features I want in a leather package is difficult).
Maybe one-day I’ll have all classy or all tech loadouts. For now, they are mixed.
