The Leatherman Micra x3 and Leatherman Squirt PS4 x1 were $5 each. The older Leatherman (no model name on it) was $20. And second photo, the Leatherman Wave x2 and Leatherman Skeletool x2 were $20 each. (All in CAD.)
So the older Leatherman had a name and phone number etched on it. I called the number this morning and the guy was ecstatic that I’d found his tool! He said he’s had it for around 40 years. I’ll be mailing it to him this week, for a bit of Christmas magic!
I plan on popping the three Micras in first aid kits I’ve assembled for gifts to friends (the Micra has nice scissors for bandages and solid tweezers for splinters). The Waves and Skeletools, I’ll gift to friends who use multis, and I’m thinking of keeping the Squirt on my car keys.
I’m super pumped that I found this motherlode and even happier that I managed to track one of the original owners down!! Plus I think it’s really cool that these confiscated items are donated to a good cause.
