I yielded to intense daily pressure by my horticulture students to pull a purple dragon from the garden. I yoinked a smaller one and it was bigger than I thought so we should get a pretty awesome yield in a couple weeks.

I told them the rest are gonna set there until they flower because we need the seeds, and cut this one up with the Sage 5 Salt. Never saw high schoolers so amped to eat carrots before, but dang look ho beautiful! Super tasty as well.

I love the Sage Salt because it offers so much of the little details that make Spyderco awesome. Magnacut blade, cool bidirectional hexagons on scales, corrosion resistant coating, compression lock. It’s all there. Yellow scales make it look a lot more like a tool than a weapon as well. It’s a such a solid knife in a lightweight package.

What knife is your get ‘er done go-to?
