After 10 years of running strong , getting tossed around , and over 10 international journeys my original titan is still running strong . Though not impressive by today’s standards the little workhorse still keeps ticking.
Now I know surefire isn’t the cheapest game in town nor sometimes the most impressive . But its endurance and customer service has made me a fan . Unfortunately they stopped producing the original titan , so now what we have is the successor (the silver one ) .
I have tried other Chinese brands and to be honest I’ve never warmed up to them .
I hope this one will last as long as its brother , and I’m just curious to know what’s the longest running light that you have ?

Sames.
I have one of the first D-Cell maglights that is at least 20 years old. I put liion Ds in it last year and basically never touch it. I have a thrunite keychain light in the same form factor as these that is 10 years old, and a few streamlight micro usb and standard aa versions that are between 8 and 9 years old. I’ve looked at this exact light several times, but never pulled the trigger.
My Titan’s seen some stuff, still going strong. I got the E2E after loosing my E1 in 2003 or so iirc, I still love that light. The Arcs are pretty bomb proof as well, I’ve had that AAA head for over 20 years, its correct tube has an alkaline battery stuck in it lol, the Arc AA was modded with a Lux1 back in the day. I’m currently waiting on a good deal for the EDC2-DFT, in the mean time I have my third Malkoff on the way.
