That tight collimation is amazing, even over just 1 kilometer, let alone two or more. You can see that light if it’s pointed at you from well over 20 miles away.

My WP3 is great. Only really useful to me between 0.5 to 1km but it has it’s uses.
What surprised me was the Trustfire T30R – great fun and I can virtually use it as an EDC!
You should try it.
We did this when I was hiking. I was 20km from my friend and I pointed at him Astrolux WP3 DURING THE DAY at 2PM. He saw as if a mirror was shining sun light in his direction. So I believe 50-100km is easily possible during the night if wheather-visibility is good.
