The Bradford Guardian 3 gets recommended a lot for this. It’s a little more than the $100 you are looking for, but I’ve seen it go on sale for $130 or so (in fact, some models are on Blade HQ for $120 right now).
I don’t have a Guardian 3, but I have a G-Necker and i really like it.
Have you looked at any Buck knives?
I have a hard time taking a $350 knife any of the rough places I go because I don’t want to lose it.
What you want is an ESEE, or if you really want to go under $100, a Condor.
The cool thing about many ESEE models is there’s tons of aftermarket scales and sheaths, so you can customize your knife after buying it if you want.

Save up a little longer and get the Winkler.
