Fireflies vs Nichia emitters!

Judging from my last post on firefly emitters, I figured there’s some degree of interest in directly comparing them side by side against nichias.

Here’s a shot of the comparable emitters that I have, excluding the Nichia 2700k as I don’t have an equivalent firefly to compare it against.

Also please don’t mind the uneven brightness between some of the hosts, as it’s relatively difficult to get a few them to be within a rough ballpark of each other.

Another thing to note is that the upper firefly 5000k is the 351A version and the lower is the 707A version.

Personally, the Nichias still remain the most neutral overall, but that doesn’t mean the fireflies are not extremely pleasing to look at and light things up with, including the 6500k version!
