TIA for any advice offered. Looking for “best” most economical to sharpen maintain a nice edge. I’d a romantic motion I could achieve this with a leather strop & *bolpol* but it’s leaving serrated edges. Works for my axe but not knife.
Ps) knifes intended usage is general camping stuff. Feather sticking random wood, cutting paracord etc. Steel is 1065 I believe

Checkout the wiki on r/sharpening as a starting point. Freehand on stones is the most flexible and economical method.
