I switch these out daily for my EDC some not as often. I keep them battery loaded. Should this be safe enough to prevent corrosion. Or should I remove battery’s.

That’s fine, but vertical would take less space.
If you wanted to go vertical harbor freight sells knock off pelican cases that you can customize to fit anything. Take your longest flashlight with you to make sure it’s deep enough to fit
