Sent my knife in to be sharpened and got this email back. They gave me a 25% off coupon as reimbursement. Kinda feels like my knife got stolen.

They also feel like like their knife got stolen when you bought it. Where did you purchase from?

  2. Your knife did get stolen. Never will agree with his policy. They should give you the option of paying to have it shipped back to you. If they want to chip the spine blade or whatever to help identification so be it, but that’s your property even if it’s a knockoff.

Interesting way to get coupons. Buy a cheap Kershaw clone and send it in to get sharpened and get a 25% coupon on something expensive

You should get the option to have it shipped back to you at your expense. They could say that every knife is counterfeit so you have to buy a new one. Sounds like a scam. Even if it’s in their warranty policy

The knife was a gift from a family member, he said he got in on Amazon. I’ve had it for many years, so he’s looking to see if he can find proof of purchase
