Honestly didn’t expect a response from either company but Quiet Carry responded to me on a different platform and clarified that they independently produce their knives and source their materials presumably at their own manufacturing location in Taiwan per the website.
Conspiracy in shambles. I can say though that it was all love and both Quiet Carry’s knives and Spyderco’s knives out of Taichung Taiwan make up some of the best I’ve ever handled and beautifully made/finished. 😁
