These arrived today, as did the AE backpack. Took it for a test run, then got a medical emergency callout. Whilst I have a helmet light, I moved the light and carabiner from backpack to jacket, while getting changed as a backup. While we were doing some intricate adjustments with patient on stretcher, someone asked for more light. I quickly used one hand to pull the imini 2 out and provide good light. 1 ambulance officer said “that light is a great idea!”, concurred by a firefighter. Then, we all whipped out our lights for beamshots, not noticing the stretcher rolling down the hill! Well, the last bit didn’t happen, but what more can an r/flashlight member hope for, than to get to use a light for a useful purpose and get praise from their peers?! Praise that I heard as “you should buy even more lights!”.

I’m going to gift the 2 spare iminis I bought to those 2 people who liked them.

I’ll then be rustling up money sometime to buy about 50 of them to be used as part of my UV light/opal hunting toolkits I rent out to people. Great little lights!
